It Is weekend, And The Weeknd Boycotts This Year's Grammy Awards

It is weekend, and The Weeknd boycotts this year's Grammy Awards which comes off tomorrow, Sunday March 14.

He vows that he will no longer allow his label to submit his music to the Grammys.

Before his decision to boycott The Grammys, he publicly in November, via Twitter condemned the Academy's decision to "snub" him. He twitted; "The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency..."

Similar to concerns raised by Halsey and recently Zayn, have you for a moment thought about his reasons for boycotting The Grammys?

The 3time Grammy winner believes "After Hours" has all it takes to be up for Album Of The Year, which spent 4 consecutive weeks at the No.1 spot on Billboard 200 and also gaining the biggest streaming week for an R&B album ever in history.

As "Blinding Lights" continues to top charts and make new records on Billboard, it is also argued to be nominated for Record Of The Year or Song Of The Year, since it's been a smashing hit.

The Weeknd becomes the latest to joins Jay Z, Kanye West and others who have also boycotted The Grammys for various reasons.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards comes of tomorrow, March 14 2021 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles California, USA with limited audience.
