Lynx Entertainment is arguably one of the best and fast rising record labels in the country,with Richie Mensah the CEO and main producer. The label currently has artists like Kuami Eugene and Kidi. But before these two,the record label had artists like Asem,Zigi,Eazzy,Irene Logan,MzVee,Dope Nation among others. These artists exited the label with various reasons. A dive into them;

1. Zigi

The album featured hit singles like 'U say wetin', and "Amanda'. Despite the success of these hit tracks and other tracks,the artist's record contract was not renewed.

This left the young artist who had won several awards devastated. In the big to re-organise and acquire enough resources,Zigi took a four year break. Upon his come back but not to Lynx,he explained that he harbored no hard feelings towards the label and sighted that the label lacked what it takes an artist beyond his first year and first award season.

2. Eazzy

Mildred Ashong popularly known in the entertainment industry as 'Eazzy' who was once tagged as the 'First Lady ' on Lynx Entertainment exited the label. After launching her debut album titled 'Twinkle' in 2010 with tracks like 'Wengeze' among others,the mutual agreement between the artist and lynx got annulled in July 2012.

According to Eazzy,it was not her intention to abruptly exit Lynx but her career was halted by he management to focus on other acts and being left idle,that pushed her out. She disclosed that her biggest earning hit was after she left the record label with the song 'forever' featuring Nigerian act Mr Eazi.

3. MzVee

Multiple award winning Ghanaian singer Veronica Hamenoo popularly known as 'MzVee', officially parted ways with Lynx Entertainment of 8years. The last single released under the label was 'Bend down' in 2018. There were rumors the reasons for her exit was because she felt threatened by colleagues Kuami Eugene and Kidi.

MzVee however, debunked the rumors, insisting that she was not really prepared for music. Nevertheless,the artist confessed to having contract issues with the label which may have facilitated to her exit but she still insisted that she was comfortable under the label's management.

4. Dope Nation

Eish! This music duo is made up of twins Michael and Tony Boafo. They are know for hit songs like 'Zanku', 'Eish',among other hit songs. The duo has quitted Lynx Entertainment just after a year of signing with them. According to close source,the twins decided not to renew their contract after it expiration.

It was added that Dope Nation feel they are not getting any serious benefit from the label and they feel they were doing soo well on their own as compared to when they joined Lynx Entertainment. The duo took to Instagram to post a cryptic video attacking their record label.

There is this perception that artists who part ways with Lynx Entertainment fail to sustain their music careers and do not get themselves in the spotlight again.
