Informing we have received suggests that, a media personality with the TV3, a subsidiary of Media Generale has left the giant media house. According to our sources the multiple award winning social and business reporter tended in her resignation on Wednesday. Coincidentally, the day was also her birthday.
Wendy joined the Media Generale in 2016 and has since contributed her quota to society and the media house. She was a news anchor and a producer for Business Focus.
Earlier this month, an online portal rainbowonline reported that there were plans to dismiss two top journalists at the media house including Wendy. However, the board disagreed with management to dismiss Wendy Laryea due to her commitment. It is not clear if she took a decision to resign based on that rumours.
Wendy Atswei Laryea is a philanthropist and advocate for girl child education. She has been involved in several projects by the UNDP particularly in menstrual hygiene education. The 28 year old graduate of Ghana Institute of Journalism is not married and there is no information on her having a child.
