Do You Remember The Ghanaian Musician Who Pioneered Hip Life Movement. See His Current Look. Photos

Music, to many is life, it has the ability to lift people from trauma and depression depending on the type of genre and lyrics.

Almost everything in this world including music and movie was ones invented, produced or pioneered by someone.

Today, let's take a look at the man who pioneered Hip Life. He's called Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, known by stage name as Reggie Rockstone a Ghanaian rapper, singer and Entrepreneur. He was born in the United Kingdom but lived his early years in Accra and Kumasi.

Rockstone is a proud old student of Achimota Secondary School. Rockstone is a legend in music, a tittle given to him by Sarkodie, Okyeame Kwame and Obrafuor.

His records include, Medicine, "Tsoo Boi", "Keep your eyes on the road", and sweetie just to a mention a few.

Remembering and cherishing how far God has brought him, he posted a Picture on his official Twitter handle with the caption " I used to work as a barman in a legendary night club in the West! Oneday we had Maxi Priest for a Show and I was assigned to serve them in the waiting room. When I walked in with my "hip top" hair they laughed so hard that I got angry"

This picture was to inspire, encourage and give hope to someone, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. Be patient and trust God.

Today Reggie Rockstone is a household name, even after his retirement from music to venture into other businesses, he still make impact by advising and directing young artists when called upon.
