One of the biggest music awards scheme event, which is aimed to award well deserved Ghanaian artistes both Ghana and the UK, widely known as Ghana Music Awards UK, is finally set to headline another Mindblowing event coming October 9, 2021.
Before the main event on the slated date above, one of the Planning & Advisory Board member known as Kwesi Ernest, has finally detailed to the public plans prior to the main event.
According to him, the GMAUK 21 will officially be launched on Friday, 23rd July, 2021 at La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The ever hard working member of the Board further detailed that, some of the top Ghanaian celebrities and key industry players will be expected to attend the official launch and nominees announcement for the 5th edition of the Ghana Music Awards UK.
Some of the top personalities who will witness the event include Sarkodie, Sister Afia , Joe Mettle, Shatta Wale, KOD , KKD ,Kojo Antwi, DJ Black, Mawusi Walker, Abeiku Santana, Sefa Kai and host of other personalities.
According to Kwesi Ernest, due to COVID-19 protocols which need to be observed, the event will be strictly by invitation. So far, over 150 Ghanaian personalities across all sectors including the entertainment, media, and political fraternity have been invited.
This year's Ghana Music Awards UK 2021 will mark the 5th edition of the awards scheme, and it will be held in the UK.
The event is expected to attract a large number of Ghanaian music stakeholders which include artistes and their managers as well as international artistes from some selected countries in Africa and Europe.
The awards has 40 voting categories.
