Boseman's last tweet is now the "most liked" on Twitter

Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman died on 28th August, 2020 at age 43, after a 4-year fight with colon cancer. The passing of Chadwick Boseman was confirmed through his official twitter account, with a full statement from the family. Chadwick Boseman died in his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, per statement family statement. The actor had been diagnosed with stage iii colon cancer in 2016.

The tweet surpassed Barack Obama's 2017 tweet which was the previous record-holder at 4.3 million likes.
