Sarkodie Tells Ghanaians About His First Experience With Beyoncé

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, says he was blown away when American genius, Beyoncé, moved toward him at the BET Awards in October 2019 at Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

As the main beneficiary of the 'Best International Flow' at the BET Awards, Sarkodie demonstrated in a meeting in South Africa that he never shared the narrative of his most memorable experience with Beyoncé in light of the fact that he would be doubted.

There was an entertaining story that occurred. Till date, I haven't dared to share it. However, Ice Prince came to Ghana and shared it. At the point when I come to Ghana and offer this story, it is basically impossible that they are going to trust me.

"I was sitting at the BET on the passageway and we had Beyoncé and her team coming and she saw me and stood directly before where I was sitting and she bowed her head." Clearly, I was thinking it wasn't me, so I was looking behind. Then Ice Prince said, "That was you," and she just shook her head and just strolled off. "Thus, when I saw her do this new undertaking with a ton of African artistes, I thought these folks somewhat realize what is really occurring," he said.

The different honor-winning rapper offered these remarks on 'Digital Broadcast and Chill with MACG.'

He brought up that being sorted out by the American vocalist made a big difference to him.

"I would rather not presume that Beyoncé knew me, yet it isn't even close to that. The more I get into business, the more I realize all that is occurring. They aren't guaranteed to talk about it and they don't tell you they see what's going on. "

Beyoncé highlighted various African artistes, including Ghana's Shatta Wale and Nigeria's Wizkid and Yemi Alade, on her 'Dark is King' project back in 2020.
