There are certain artistes who have somehow edged over the others when it comes to music in Ghana. They are always in the news and happen to have a lot of avid fans behind them. Interestingly, we have got those that have already cemented their status and those that are now doing so. It would interest you to know that those who have cemented their names as the biggest stars in the music industry have all got something in common apart from the fact that they appeal more to the fans than the others. Isn't it just ridiculous that Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini and Stonebwoy have all got their stage names beginning with an 'S'. Bet you hadn't realised it until now_ regarding the number of awards they all have to their credit at the VGMAs, Sarkodie comes first with a total of 25 wins, Stonebwoy and Samini happen to be tied at 9 and then Shatta Wale with a total of 6 wins. There is of course the fact that certain sanctions on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has affected the number of awards they should be boasting of by now. Moving on to those artistes who are also slowly becoming very notable in the music industry, we have Kuami Eugene and Kofi Kinaata with 7 awards both to their names, Kwesi Arthur with 4 and then Kidi with 3. Notice something interesting here too? Of course they too have got the same letter beginning their stage names, hilarious!
