Akaupem Poloo's Mother Said Her Grandson has Not Spoken Since He Heard His Mum Case

Auntie Lydia, mother of embattled Ghanaian actress and social star, Akuapem Poloo has pleaded with the court to have mercy on her daughter who awaits her sentencing today April 16.

The tearful mother in a conversation with Akwesi Aboagye on one of the FM station in Ghana called Peace FM Thursday edition of Entertainment Review said she could not eat even though she had been diagnosed with an ulcer.

According to her, the soon to be 8 year old son of Akuapem Poloo has been affected by the news of his jail bound mother. Adding that, the child who is currently writing his examination refused to go to school to avoid embarrassment.

An Accra Circuit Court, presided over by Mrs. Christiana Cann, convicted the social media star after she pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, for posting obscene photos of herself and her seven-year-old son in June last year.

Rosemond Brown was remanded into police custody to enable her to undergo a pregnancy test ahead of her sentencing on Friday, April 16, 2021.
