His artistic name is derived from his actual name ‘Gregory Promise Bortey Newman”.

In 2016 he released his much anticipated single ‘Thank God’ which featured Fuse ODG and produced by Killbeatz . The budding talent considers himself as a versatile artist, who falls in the Afrobeats, HighLife, R&B and Hip-Hop genres. Andrews Commey Otoo popularly known by his stage name Mr. Drew was born on 10th June 1996 in Greater Accra Region.

He is a young budding Ghanaian Highlife, Afrobeat musician, and Dancer/ Choreographer who placed first runner-up at Mtn Hitmaker 6 in 2017. He was also nominated as Unsung Artist during Ghana’s Prestigious Awards Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 .He grew up in the neighborhood of Dansoman, Kaneshie, and finally settled in Mallam in Greater Accra – Ghana.

His name, Kwabena Kwabena depicts the two vocations he is presently in, first as Kwabena, the draftsman, and Kwabena, the contemporary highlife musician.[2] He emerged after featuring on Kontihene's 2004 hit, Esi and he featured Kontihene on his own debut hit, Aso.[3]

Dan Amakye Dede[1][2] (born 5 January 1958)[3][4] is a Ghanaian musician. He is one of Ghana's premier high-life artists popularly referred to as "Iron Boy", "the high-life maestro" and "Abrantie" (English: Gentleman). Amakye Dede was born in Agogo, Asante Akim.[5] He attended Agogo Roman School.
