One of Ghana's most popular Afro beats musician , Andrew Nii Commey Otoo , popularly know as Mr Drew has come out to say he hoped for more nomination At the Vodafone Ghana Music Award than he had .
This was said by Mr Drew during an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz when they asked him of his nomination for this year's VGMA .
When he was responding , Mr Drew made known that he looked forward for more than what he got as he anticipated nominations like the Highlife song of the Year and Album of the year categories .
He said that , even though he missed on certain Categories but he will make sure he will get those categories in the near future if he places more energy .
When he was asked of the category he had wanted , he said "The Collaboration of the a year " with His song "Echoke" ft Sefa and the afrobeat artist of the year .
Mr Drew has been nominated in the :"Best Hiplife song of the year" , "Video of the year" , "Afropop song of the year" , and the "Afropop artist of the year" .
The event is scheduled to come off on the 6th and 7th may at the Grand Arena .
