Three days ago, Jackie Appiah caused a massive stir on the internet with a TikTok video. She made certain statements in the video that shocked many Ghanaians. This is just a paraphrase of what she said, there is no way under this hot sun I will end up with a poor man. She continued, I will choose a billionaire any day. Additionally, Jackie indicated that she would choose Dubai over Paris and also sneakers of high-heeled shoes.
As if we had not had enough, Deborah has also joined the billionaires club. As Valentine's day approached its end, many were wrapping up how the day had gone for them. Then, sister Derby drops a question in her tweet out of nowhere. She asked her followers; I want a man who's kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a billionaire?
Some of her fans proposed the idea of choosing them because they would soon become billionaires. Others admonished her for her tweet and deemed it needless. In the end, she had few who rallied their support behind her.
Below are samples of their tweets:
Jackie and Derby are two of the most beautiful female celebrities in Ghana. With Jackie representing the dark-skinned faction and Derby representing the light-skinned faction. Both Jackie and Deborah are blessed with rich careers which are Acting and Modeling respectively. Derby also doubles as a singer.
Deborah Vanessa was once in a relationship with Ghanaian rapper, Amg Medikal. They dated for three years before going their separate ways. That remains the only high-profile relationship she has been in. She turned 36 last year in August. This means she will be clocking age 37 soon. This might be the reason why she is calling for a billionaire.
The sudden interest of these women in billionaires might be the beginning of many to come. So I urge you to fasten your seatbelts because we are in for a ride
