Naa Ashorkor is a Ghanaian actress and media personality currently working for Asaase Radio in Accra. She is best known for her roles in "The Perfect Picture" (2009) directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso and Poisoned Bait by Iroko TV, a film directed by Leila Jansi. She won the Best Actress Award at the 2010 African Film Academy Awards for her role in The Perfect Picture (2009). Naa Ashkorkor also played alongside Yvonne Okoro, Joselin Dumas and John Dumello.
Naa Ashorkor and actor Chris Ato hosted the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA 2016), which took place at the International Conference Center in Accra. She also hosted the Miss Maliaka show for eight years. In 2008 she starred in her first film role as Shirley Frimpong Manso.
She is an entrepreneur who runs two companies: Jaarno, a digital food marketplace, and April Communications, a theater company. From 2017 to 2020, she was chairman of a multimedia group where she moderated the Showbiz A-Z and Strong and Sassy programs.She switched to Asaase Radio in late June 2020 and moderated events between the class and just us.
