The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) says it halted the debut of the Freedom and Justice film the nation over in light of the dread of it helping in the spread of COVID-19.
There were reports that the film has been prohibited fully with security agents securing the different films.
Yet, an assertion from the Ghana Tourism Authority said it was simply actualizing orders from the President and that it doesn't have anything against the film and its substance.

The Ghana Tourism Authority has observed an assertion coursing via online media today, December 24, 2020, by Kobi Rana, the film maker of FREEDOM AND JUSTICE with the above feature.
The Authority wishes to explain that a boycott has not been put on the said film however compliant with the orders of the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the activity of MOVIE HOUSES/CINEMAS ARE SUSPENDED AS PART OF THE COVID 19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS, which are contained in the Imposition of Restrictions (Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic)(No. 16) Instrument, 2020.
