Mercy Asiedu is a living legend in Ghana's film industry. One of the few who have elevated the film industry is the well-known actress.
Ohemaa Fans refer to Mercy Asiedu as Asaabea. She was conceived on May 9, 1971. She had spent the last two decades working in the acting business.
Mercy began performing in the renowned concert party concerts, and in 2001, she even received recognition.
She gained notoriety and attention for her part as Asaabea, the notorious Agya Koo's troublemaking wife, in the 2005 smash hit film "Asoreba." She acquired the moniker "Asaabea" in that movie.
Mercy Asiedu gained notoriety after playing a prominent part in the 2005 blockbuster "Asorebea." She has since appeared in more than 100 films.
She is a talented musician who has released two gospel CDs in addition to being a decent actor.
"Ye Meho Nsenkyerene," her second album, was released on September 11. She has a reputation for playing contentious roles in films.
She has appeared in a number of Kumawood films, which are made in Kumasi and are Twi-language films in the Akan dialect.
To name a few, she has appeared in films with Agya Koo, Lil Win, Kwaku Manu, and Aboagye Brenya. The well-known Ghanaian actress wed Nana Agyemang Badu, the Mundo chief in the Ahafo Ano south area of Ashanti, in 2017.
She obtained the title "Oheneyare" following her marriage to Nana Agyemang Badu. She has two sons and a daughter as her three offspring. A doctorate degree has been given to the Ghanaian actress and her husband, Nana Agyeman Badu Duah, the paramount chief of Kunsu.
In the United States, the milestone ceremony was held on August 6, 2022, on Saturday. In collaboration with Petus Fedei Seminary, Believers Network International honored the couple.The couple received an honorary doctorate in recognition of the unselfish and outstanding work they have done for the Kunsu community.
