He was born on the 18th of August,1993 at Accra in the Greater Accra Region.
KiDi was born to Gerald and Beatrice Thompson at Accra. They saw Nana through primary school at the St. Anthony’s School in Accra and afterward through Accra Academy and he finally finished his academic education at the University of Ghana, Legon.
From Hitmaker, the Odo hitmaker has been making waves in the industry, producing, co-producing and writing hit songs non-stop.
His resilience caught the attention of one of the biggest stars in African music "Davido" who joined the remix of the Odo hit song.
He has had many nominations when it comes to awards in the country, notable among them is the Vodafone Music Awards, the 3Music Awards among others, the singer has managed to bag home the 2018 Highlife Song of Year at the Ghana Music Awards and AFRIMA award for the Best Artiste Duo.
