Recent headlines sorrounding a tweet from Serwaa Amihere and certain issues popping up in her birthday month seem not to go well with Serwaa Amihere.
It all started Serwaa celebrated her birthday a few days ago. She tweeted that she is 31years old and one of her twitter fans replied to her post "31 not married!!!! When will you give birth!!!! Misdirected "
This tweet didn't go down well with Serwaa Amihere so she replied in another tweet "Everyday go and marry! As though it’s the most important thing in life. You’ll be pushing women to end up in unhappy and abusive marriages. Smh" .
Ghanaweb picked a caption from this and wrote "marriage is not important, I prefer being single" with serwaa's name and picture on it. This didn't go down well with her so she tagging Ghanaweb in a tweet saying
". @TheGhanaWeb with all due respect, fix this headline because I never said this! I am waiting! We are all journalists, we know the job. Do not misquote me"
It is however unknown whether or not Ghanaweb will heed to the call of Serwaa Amihere and change the caption to prevent further displeasure in her.
