The Multimedia Group's English channel called Joynews has won a copyright strike battle against Loud silence TV owned by NDC's communicator Kevin Taylor. This follows Kevin Taylor's video release about President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
Authorities of the YouTube channel also issued a strong and last warning to Kevin Taylor.
" You have one copyright strike. If you get multiple copyright strikes, we will have to take down or disable your account to prevent that from happening. Please don't upload any videos containing copyrighted content that you aren't allowed to use " YouTube warned Kevin Taylor for the last time.
Kevin Taylor had picked videos from the Joynews Channel and edited it as his. Kevin Taylor had made several allegations against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in the video. Key among his criticism was that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo never practiced law which could only come from an uninformed or speculative and non factual journalist like Kevin Taylor. This is because this allegation has been discussed and disabused long ago.
Kevin Taylor wasn't happy about why Joynews reported his content which has been taken down with a last warning. He rattled and criticised Joynews for allegedly hiding behind government to hide negative stories.
Well, laws are laws. You Can't steal content, forge or edit and claim as yours. If Kevin Taylor had facts about his claims surroundingPresidentNanaAddoDankwaAkufoAddo, he should have exposed the President with his own pictures and videos to prove his point than stealing old videos from Joynews and presenting as his facts. That is absolutely incorrect, incredible and unacceptable.
Congratulations to Joynews. Kevin Taylor shared the image below in his production last night and clapped back for nothing at Joynews. You can also watch his full production in the link below as shared.
