Afia Pokuaa attended Labone Senior High School and was born on August 18th. Vim Lady went on to study law at the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Afia Pokuaa also attended the London Center of Marketing in the United Kingdom. She is presently the Despite Media Group's Head of Programs (UTV).
Vim Lady is the host of "Mmara Nosesen," an educational show that airs on UTV. This program explains what the law says about a variety of issues that Ghanaians face on a daily basis.
She won multiple awards, including the MTN Heroes of Change 2018 and the Media Personality Awards. Golden Excellence Awards, Excellence in Media Awards
People dubbed her Vim Lady because she was so popular. She earned a reputation for her excellent reporting and ability to engage in open discourse with her listeners throughout her time on the show.
She was the former editor of Adom FM, a Multimedia Group Limited affiliate.
In January 2021, she married her longtime fiancé Appiah Antwi.
The pair has decided to do their wedding ceremony in Ghana.
Vim Lady made a brief appearance on broadcast earlier this year. The pause was supposed to give her time to prepare for the wedding, but rumors circulated that she had departed Despite Media.
