Yesterday was a great day for some Ghanaians whose schools, children and friends participated in the National Science and Maths Quiz Finals. It was all Joy for the schools who participated in the competition.
Several Ghanaians watched the competition on Facebook. The grand finale was live on JoyNews Facebook platform and other Facebook platforms. But on this same day Ghanaian social media influencer who stays in the United States Twene Jonas also took to his social platform to address issues going on in Ghana.
Everyone in the country knows that, Twene Jonas is mostly watched when he is live and addressing and talking about issues taking place in Ghana, but yesterday was such a bad day for him, because he lost several viewers.
Normally, he gets over 15k views, over 20k and the likes but yesterday he only got 3k views in the evening. Whiles this was happening the National Science And Maths Quiz Finals was also taking place live on Facebook.
The views on JoyNews alone went as high as more than 30k views. Most of Twene Jonas' fans snubbed him and his program to watch the NSMQ finals.
This clearly tells Ghanaians what is more important to them when you compare the views from both programs that went on during the same period.
At the end of the National Science And Maths Quiz, Prempeh College won the contest with 53 points. PRESEC Lagon had 49 points and KETASCO followed with 30 points.
