Captain Smart went all Northern today as he presented issues going wrong about the Northern part of Ghana. He wore a war smock today with "ahenema" and holding "bodua" in his hand. He had a black horned helmet on his head as well as he presented the show live on TV this morning. But he could be in trouble for misrepresenting what he wore to the show this morning.
The war smock which was worn by Smart is worn by the Northerners or any other tribe when there is war. What Smart wore today was exactly same with leather patches in it which according to the history protected people who wore it from blade cuts or bullet penetrations. With the horned helmet to protect their heads from any head injuries as well.
Where Captain Smart went wrong and will be able to land him in big trouble is him wearing a slipper called "ahenema" as the footwear for such smock. This is not so on the part of the Northerners. Normally or traditionally Northerners wear long shoes or footwears made of leathers under this during wars. And what Captain Smart wore was totally wrong to the tradition of the North. And he could land himself in trouble for doing this should the chiefs pay attention to this.
He tried to dress as such and so without knowing the correct and acceptable ways to dress like this to suit the Northern tradition has landed himself in trouble dressing anyhow on live TV.
