My finances are better now than when I was doing secular music - Minister Irene Logan

R&B singer now turned gospel minister, Irene Logan, has revealed that her finances are better now than before.

She told Franky 5 on 'This Is Gospel' on Hitz FM that she is doing well financially now than when she was producing hits in the music industry.

Irene Logan won the 2006 'Stars of the Future' music reality show.

After the competition, she teamed up with fellow 'Stars of the Future' contestant, Efya, formerly known by her stage name, Jane, to record an album.

Later, she went solo and released hits including 'Run Away', 'Na Me Dey There', and 'Kabila'.

Surprisingly, despite all these achievements, Irene Logan notes that she is doing better financially as a gospel minister than when she was a popular singer.

"It is even now that I am getting fat cheques...Now that I surrendered to God, I don't want to make this about money, my success level, entirely, it cannot be compared to when I was dancing and singing around", she said.

Irene Logan stated that she has committed fully to the Christian work and she travels around the world to minister.

The former cigarette addict has also purposed to help the youth out of various addictions.
