The events unfolding after the recent edition of Tv3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful currently show that the eviction did not go down well at all with majority of the people. Many have jumped on Afua’s case and have said that although she has been at the bottom twice due to insufficient votes, her performance should have been able to save her. Unfortunately, this to them was not so because Janet, one of the panel of judges has never given a good comment about Afua before and Cookie Tee the moderator, made her case worse by reading out a degrading comment concerning Afua(Eastern region representative).
Not once has she won an award either, yet we see her exude enthusiasm and zeal during every performance. Many say they have not been given their money’s worth since it seems that the judges have already selected their favourites. Some argue that it is no hidden matter that once votes are unable to save you, the judges can come to your rescue and Afua has been rescued once before by these same judges so her supporters must be grateful just like in the case of Dede, (Greater Accra representative) who was also rescued once but still did not accumulate enough votes.
Aggrieved fans have therefore expressed great disappointment in judges who evidently take out their phone to take video shots of their favourite contestants and have cautioned them to judge on fair grounds.
