The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is the most celebrated music awards scheme in Ghana. It was established by Charter House in the year 2000, and it is celebrated annually to award Ghanaian musicians for the great job done over the year.

One category that would catch the attention of many this year is the Best Group Of The Year. In this category, a promising new name has emerged. They are the talented duo known as Dead Peepol. Dead Peepol this year blessed the music industry with their hit song Otan hunu. Later in the year, they released a remix of the song that featured Fameye, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Deon Boakye, Malcolm Nuna, Rich Kent, Tulenkey, and Bosom P-Yung.
In 2020, Dope Nation won the Best Group Award with the likes of La Meme Gang and Bethel Revival Choir in the category. They are included in this year’s nominations and hope to win the award again.
