I am glad to see him prosper. Burna Boy gets praised by Shatta Wale.

The self-proclaimed dancehall king wrote on his official Snapchat account that he is delighted to see the Nigerian afrobeat musician succeed and rule the world with his music, even if they are no longer friends and don't communicate anymore.

"Lord God, the world is being destroyed by my friend who was to be but is no longer." We don't talk, but I'm so glad to see him succeed! He shouts, "You're burning it, Burna!" Love "Shatta Wale" posted a status update on Snapchat.

They used to be the closest of friends. Shatta Wale is perhaps one of the few Ghanaian musicians to expose Burna Boy to his Ghanaian audience.

On January 1, 2022, Burna Boy and Shatta Wale were squabbling over Shatta Wale's attack on Nigerians for not supporting Ghanaian artists, despite the affection and active support Ghanaian artists give to Nigerians in Ghana.

The two ex-friends shared information about one another, including very private details that ought to have been kept private.

Burna Boy recently offered his many followers an apology on his official Instagram page.

Burna Boy apologized, joking that Shatta Wale is a pig and that he regrets joining people like Shatta Wale in the gutter.

The Afrobeat singer declared he would stop using social media and made a pledge to himself not to go so low in the future.
