List of Key Soup Concept Party Actors Who Has Passed Away.

Undoubtedly one of the TV series which has been on the screen for years is concert party. Key Soup concert party was one of the popular comedy shows on TV for some years back.

The popular sitcom that was aired on Ghana Television (GTV) in the Akan language. Both kids and adults enjoyed the stage performance displayed by the actors until it went off screens without any heads up or explanations to the audience. The stage performance drama brought joy to several Ghanaians.

A look at some of the actors of the stage drama who death has laid it's cold hands on.

Bishop Bob Okala.

Born Samuel Kwadwo Boahen is well known by his stage name Bishop Bob Okala.

The Ghanaian actor and comedian is popular for the comic roles he played on GTV concert party program.

He paid his last dues to his country with his last appearance at the 59th independence day parade. Seven days after his performance, Ghanaians woke up to the sad news of his death. It was reported he collapsed on stage while performing at the koforidua Jackson park and died shortly at the Koforidua Regional hospital after being rushed to the hospital. He died on March 13th,2016.


Real name Yaw Donkor was a Ghanaian comedian who is known popularly in the concert party show.

It is emerged that the actor died due to kidney, Liver problems and bladder failure due to excessive drinking.

Araba Stamp.

Margaret Quainoo, was born to Teacher Mansah and Ajura Kweenua on December 12,1941.

The Ghanaian actress Abraba Stamp died on July 12,2006 at the age of 70 years after a short illness.

The actress who was featured in the classic film I told You So in 1970 was a key member in the key Soup concept party. She is also remembered in the Efiewura TV series where she usually plays the role of a gossiper.

Bob Santo.

Real name is John Evans Kwadwo Bosompen is a ace comedian and actor in Ghana who is know by his stage name Bob Santo or simply Santo.

He died at the age of 67 years on May 2002 at the West End Clinic in Kumasi after a short illness. He is a comedian in the concept party and also TV3's Efiewura TV series.

Born John Grahl also known as waterproof was a veteran Ghanaian comedian and actor.

He featured on numerous shows and was Ghana's first stand-up comedian.

He died aged 55 at the Tetteh Quarshie Momeorial Hospital at Mampong Akuapem.
