Nhyira FM, a radio station under the Multimedia Group is notable for a program called 'Obra' hosted by Mrs.Effe Amanor, popularly known as 'Mama Effe'. On the program, she listens to various issues that people bring in board, especially issues concerning marriage, domestic violence and all forms of abuse and she does her investigation before solving those issues amicably with the help of her panel.
First it was Auntie Naa, and now Akosua, Pastor Julius and Condemn have also left too. Auntie Naa, has now come up with her own show, and Akosua and her team have left for Ahomka FM, a much lesser known radio station.
Pastor Julius disclosed that, Akosua was given a huge sum of money to leave Nhyira and that he followed her because, she brought him to Nhira FM and particularly because he had been given the go ahead by God.
According to him, there is no bad blood between Mama Effe and Auntie Naa as some people are speculating. "There may be times Auntie Naa did not agree with how Mama Effe went about people's cases but that does not mean they are not enemies and I know she left because she wanted peace to reign" he added.
