Ghana now has become like a crime scene - Johnny Hughes.

The host of Johnnies bite Johnny Hughes raised some concerns during today's edition of his editorial and I agree with him completely. We are normalising certain behaviours in this country and it is bad. Johnny made mention of the situation where the government is owing almost very critical people and doesn't seem to care. They go into agreements with unions and later renege on their promises. They only realise that if the unions start declaring industrial strike actions.

That is when they realise they have to do something. Should it always be that way? It has gotten to the point where that behaviour is now normal. According to sources, newly trained teachers are being owed about 7 months' allowance arrears. Nabco and national service personnel are being owed several months arrears. Meanwhile ministers and other government appointees have received their salaries consistently for the past 7 months.

Why can't they pay the paltry sums these trainees and others deserve? If this is not wickedness then I don't know what it is. Government should repent.
