Proff. Gyampo Declares God's Revelation

Professor Ransford Yaw Gyampo declared God's revelation and has caused massive stir online.

Genesis 48: 19a reads “But his father refused and said ‘I know, my son, I know’.

Joseph brought his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh to be blessed by his father Jacob (Israel). Joseph positioned the children such that the right hand of Jacob could touch Manasseh, the elder child, and the left could touch Ephraim, the younger one.

But when Jacob was about laying his hands on the children to bless them, he crossed his hands such that the right hand touched Ephraim, the younger one, and the left touched Manasseh, the elder brother.

In verses 17 to 19 of Genesis 48, we are told that when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on Ephraim’s head, it displeased him; and he grasped his father’s hand to remove it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head.

Whiles doing this, Joseph said to his father, “not so, my father, for this one (Manasseh) is the firstborn. Place your right hand on his head.” But his father refused and said, “...I know, my son, I know...”

This means Jacob knew exactly what he was doing when he crossed his hands to be able to lay his right hand on Ephraim, instead of Manasseh.

Beloved in Christ, sometimes, the ways of God appear to us as serious nonsensical mistakes. We ignorantly strive to correct the supposed mistakes comitted by the infallible God. But today.

He is telling you and I that He knows what He is doing. We may not understand Him now but He hasn’t made any mistake.

A young lady lost the husband under a very painful circumstance. The guy went to work, had lunch, complained about headache and died. Whiles morning the husband, the daughter also died two weeks later. Which God permits this pain?

Did He not make a mistake in allowing the man and his daughter to die within two weeks? Even if the death were suicidal or caused by some evil machinations, couldn’t God have simply stopped this from happening?

Didn’t God know the pain, anguish and agony the wife and mother would go through? Are we not justified in trying to correct these mistakes committed by our God?

God’s response to these questions is that, He knows what you are going through and He very much know what He is doing too. Though what we see Him doing may not be favoring us, as we may wish, He is telling us that He hasn’t made a mistake at all. He knows what He is doing. He knows why He has allowed your pain, trial, setbacks, diseases and illness.

It is absolutely impossible for the God of all creation to be ignorant of what He does and allows. We don’t always have to understand how He works. We don’t always have to figure out how a particular wicked trial will work in our favor. Let us trust Him knowing that, God is not ignorant or oblivious of what we go through.

You have been in search for job, marriage, children, healing, promotion etc for a long time, in a manner that sometimes create doubts in your mind as to whether our God still reigns. He is telling you that “I know, my son/daughter, I know.

Once God is aware of what we go through, and once He assures us that He knows what He is doing, our challenges and difficulties, would surely end in praise, one day.

May we trust Him and may He bless and keep all of us throughout the week.
