Rastafarian Group In Sunyani Threatens To Sue Sunyani Hospital Over The Death Of Their Brother

Rastafarians of the Reggae lovers club in Sunyani, as well as the family of Alfred Asante Kwateng are accusing the Sunyani Municipal Hospital of discriminatory care and a tramadol overdose administration leading to Alfred's untimely demise.

Alfred who was a musician, known popular was Rasne, is alleged to have been denied fair treatment after being admitted at the hospital over lower abdominal pain because of his appearance since he was wearing dreadlocks.

The Rastafarian club however has cautioned that, if the hospital fails to provide answers to the circumstances which led to the death of the 40-year-old Rasne, within one week, they will institute legal action against the hospital facility.

Meanwhile, the leader of the club, Annor Gyan, has revealed that they have evidence with respect to reports on Rasne's folder and that; the learnt that his folder cannot be found in the hospital. He asked about what the hospital facility is allegedly trying to hide from them.

He added that the family of the deceased demand explanations to why tramadol injection was given to their deceased love one.
