The debate about the nominees for the various categories of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is getting hotter and hotter every day. Organizers of the show released the nominees for the various categories few weeks ago. One category I find interesting is the International collaboration of the year. The category comprises three females which include Efya, Celestine Donkor and Sister Afia. The males in the category include Kwesi Arthur, kuami Eugene, Kofi Kinaata, Sarkodie and Pappy Kojo, So technically this category will be a battle of sexes, who will carry the day, will it be a female or a male.
Sarkodie had E-40 on CEO flow, Kwesi Arthur's “baajo” featured Joeboy, Kofi kinaata and Patoranking on “something nice”, reigning artiste of the year Kuami Eugene with “show body” ft Falz, Pappy Kojo collaborated with South Africa's Busiswa on "Thomas pompoyeyew remix”, Victor AD was featured on Sister Afia's “paper”, Sensational songstress Efya had Tiwa savage on “the one” and the only Gospel singer in the category Celestine Donkor with “favor everywhere” featuring Evelyn Wonjiru. Although the event is scheduled for later this year but voting has already started. Who carries the day in this category, will it be a male or a female.
