Wendy Shay was discovered by famous singer and businessman Bullet from Ruff and Smooth, and singed under the record label of Ruff Town Records. She is best known for her hit song “Uber Driver” which received massive airplay across the country. Some of her hit songs include Bedroom Commando, Emergency, Enough is Enough, All for You, Haters in Tears, and others.
The leader of the Shay Gang, Wendy Shay won Best New Artiste of the year at Ghana-Naija Showbiz, New Artiste of the year at Ghana Music Awards SA, Music Video of the year at Eastern Music Awards all in 2018, and Discovery of the year at Ghana Music Awards, New Artiste of the Year at Ghana Music Awards UK in 2019.
