Piesie Esther is a renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, whose music has won the hearts of many and led them to Christ. She has been in the music scene for a period of 19 year with 6 albums and 2 hit singles in total.
Her first ever release which is titled 'Apae' has pushed her into the trajectory of one of the top female artistes in this industry without a doubt. However, this song also generated a lot of controversies for her, with common of all being that she is the wife of 'Apae Life', a man of God.
"I don't blame people for saying that, but to be sincere, Apae Life is like a father to me. I started walking with him at the beginning of my career when I used to work as a backing vocalist for Mama Georgia so it only fair for people to conclude that I named my first song after him because he is my husband. When I first met him he was already married to Mama Rose and they had had their first child together."
She explained that, her song was based on Isaiah 10:27 which reads that:
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing".
Piesie also mentioned that she is married to a very handsome man called Eric Asiedu who is a businessman.
