The recent arrest of celebrities in Ghana has sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms considering how most Ghanaians have expressed immense concerns aside applauding the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare for his efforts to ensuring peace and order in the country.
Even though most prominent individuals and Ghanaians as a whole have boldly come out to share their respective opinions and thoughts on the ongoing arrest of some celebrities including Shatta Wale and Medikal, others have unexpectedly applauded the IGP Dr Dampare and his boys aside urging Ghana police service to do more.
The arrest of the popularly known Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah and other three accomplices have undoubtedly raised lots of concerns and debates amongst Ghanaians as most individuals have boldly come out to claim that, the prophet who predicted Shatta Wale’s shooting and death should be blamed and otherwise.
With respect to this, the popularly known hiplife musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng also known as Kwame A-Plus has recently caused massive reactions online after boldly revealing another hot secret behind the arrest of the dancehall artist, Shatta Wale.
Speaking in a recent interview on Adom TV’s “Nnawotwe yi” show, Kwame A-Plus revealed that, Shatta Wale could have prevented himself from not being arrested but he wanted to create an awareness for prophets who prophesy about the death of celebrities in Ghana hence tarnishing their careers.
“They told Shatta Wale to exempt himself from the case but he didn’t. He wanted to do what was right to create an awareness so he went to the police station himself and told the police that, he was the one who used his phone in posting those photos on social media even though his accomplices made those posts. Shatta Wale wants to be where he is to create an awareness. For the fact that, the court has remanded the prophet, it means that even the Attorney General’s office and the judicial system takes these prophesies seriously. And from now on, Shatta Wale has sacrificed himself in other to be jail for false prophesies to be put to an end in this country. So it is not that, Shatta Wale does not know what he’s doing, he knows exactly what he’s doing. But Shatta Wale has to make his case very clear on whether what he did was for public interest or not”, Kwame A-Plus emphatically revealed.
In conclusion, Kwame A-Plus argued that, prophets who predicted the death of celebrities in this country should desist from such activities considering how it affects the careers of those individuals.
Do you agree with Kwame A-Plus claims about Shatta Wale’s arrest even though most individuals think otherwise?
