Mamle Wolo ,The kaya girl tells how fate brings Philipa and Stephanie together to fulfill their Destinies. Stephanie has to stay with her aunt ,Auntie Lydia during vacation.She attends the American School,a special school for expatriate children from the United State of America, Europe or other continent and children of Ghana up are from elite homes. Stephanie join Auntie Lydia so that she can lean about her Ghanaian culture. She has to be at Auntie Lydia’s shop at Makola Market to support her by at least browsing the Internet for her.
While at makola ,Stephanie was attracted by a kayayoo,a porter girl smile and the two girls soon became friends .Philipa does not play in her Shop. Gifty ,Auntie Lydia’s relative and maid too try as much as she can to discourage Stephanie from playing with the kaya girl so that she can win Abena’s love and favour. But she fails to break the natural bond of love between the two friends.
