Ghana film industry play a major role in Africa. This is as a result of Ghana being one of the first African country to gain their independence and to develop their own film in the post colonial era. kumawood is a brand for the movie industry in Ghana just like we have Bollywood in India and Nollywood in Nigeria. According to history,the first film was to appear in the late 1980s where ZINABU I-IV (a series dealing with a woman's struggle against witchcraft).
The coronavirus pandemic has impended the content pipeline ,halting film production and closing cinemas. People found interest in YOLO. a Ghanaian TV series (things we do for Love). It advices and directs the youth concerning the challenges they face in ttheir adolescence. It was produced and directed by IVAN QUASHIGAN
Ghanaians are so lucky that today, another production called BLACK TIGER also produce and directed by Perry Obeng Adjei is also releasing a TV series called # Teen circle TVseries, with a lot of interesting and educative episodes which teaches a hot lessons to the youth especially the adolescence.
According to the director , the movie which will be released very soon on YouTube @ Blacknet Cinema so the youth should subscribe and click on the notification bell to be notified when the new series is released because the movie is going to be an educative, entertaining and a lesson to the youth and a page has been created on Facebook called Teeen Circle TV series .
The youth should join and help discover the new talent in them . he added that new members are warmly welcomed.
