Promzy comes back; Is he a boxer now? – netizens troll

The memory of VIP still has magic on the minds of the 80s and the 90s. It’s a whole of mood reminiscing what music was like in those days. Promzy left and it was a heartbreaking episode for fans and music lovers but Reggie Rockstone was a perfect fix too, right?

Initially, Vision In Progress was a five-member music group. Friction (Musah Haruna) formed the group with a friend. Having the passion to pursue the vision, he proposed the idea to Promzy, Lazzy, Prodigal, Bone and before they knew it, the five of them were performing at ghetto parties, clubs, street festivals. However, Bone left too.

Later on, Lazzy also changed his name to Zeal just after the exit of Promzy amid conflict. The group entirely rebranded itself as VVIP. Subsequent updates saw Promzy firing shots at them, one could tell leaving the group was a thorn in his flesh.

Reggie Rockstone replaced him. Thus, VVIP now has Zeal, Prodigal and Reggie Rockstone.

Suddenly, Promzy showed up on the digital space outdooring a new signature look. Bald, muscular with a coiled tail of hair on the right side of his head and tattoos all over his body. He professed that he still loves doing music and he is back. Yeah, it got the entire nation talking. After all, that was an impressive transformation contrary to one that surfaced on the web that depicted a fellow suffering from some sort of illness. Some believed he was on drugs.

Anyways, today, Ameyaw Debrah posted a video of Promzy directed by Nana Adom Jr. announcing his comeback officially. The admired rapper was in the gym lifting metals and ripping his packs. Yeah, he looks heavy with muscles now. Some people say that’s not Ghanaian, Ghanaian rappers don’t gym like that. As a result, they started trolling and quizzing if he’s back as a gym instructor or as a boxer…

Well, he has stayed in the US all this while after his hay days and exit from the VIP. And in America, that’s what most rappers do and look like – gym rats, the gangsta living. Maybe we should give him a break or? After all Kenyan rapper, Khaligraph Jones’ structure is even muscular than Promzy’s.
