In the wake of the happenings concerning LGBTQ, many Ghanaian personalities have had their take on this very sensitive issue. University of Ghana Political Science tutor Professor Gyampo has waded into the conversation with his own opinion on this matter.
Previously, a LGBTQ office was opened in Accra and this sparked a lot of conversations and criticisms. Popular Ghanaian musician and comedian, Wanlov the kubolor was at the opening of this organization by the European Union in Ghana. Wanlov has come under brutal criticisms after he said in an interview that he endorsed LGBTQ movement because these people were marginalized and deserved their rights also.
However, Sarah Adwoa Safo the minister designate for Gender also stated during her vetting that it was constitutionally illegal for any person to indulge in such uncanal acts.
