
Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has been fined Ghc2,000 by the Accra Circuit Court for publication of false news.
The court, presided over by Emmanuel Essandoh, on Wednesday, 29th June, 2022 slapped Shatta Wale with the said amount after he pleaded guilty to publication of false news.
The 'Bandana' hitmaker will serve a term of three months if he fails to pay the fine.
In a post shared by Shatta Wale on Facebook, he has asked for financial assistance from his loved ones.
He says anyone who loves him should send him Ghc2,000.
According to Shatta Wale, from now to Friday is a holiday for his fans so they should have fun.
He added, "No more fake prophecies God, bless our homeland ghana".
