Ghana’s Most Beautiful competition is getting fierce as the battle is torn between two beautiful and brilliant ladies. The ladies are Wedaga from the Upper East and Sarfoa from the Ashanti Region. I always believed that there is no way Sarfoa can be relegated to the ground because of her fluency and intelligence- which Wedaga also have, but not in high proportion as Sarfoa. But upon witnessing today’s performance by Wedaga, I am swept from my feet.
This Sunday’s show had the contestants talking about their regions for 4 minutes. And after that, a follow-up question will get the contestants talking about any current affair. Indeed, Sarfoa delivered as eloquent and brilliant as always. She talked about the Ashanti region and although the time was quite infinitesimal for her, she was able to do her best. She also answered the follow-up question with passion and confidence.
Wedaga also came right after Sarfoa and she was brilliant, well prepared, smart and beautiful. She approached the follow-up question with detailed information about Ghana’s political history and added figures to complement her submission. For a minute, I thought she knew about the question before she was asked. She also added how corruption should be tackled in Ghana and her opinion was to crack the whip as and when one is found guilty. This will deter others from doing the same or worst.
Today, I am much confident I support both Sarfoa and Wedaga. Whoever wins have my love and I guess so are many Ghanaians after watching today’s show.
