Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper and has revealed that he is halfway through a new project dubbed Patience. He shared this with the public after winning the Ghana Music Awards – USA’s Hip-hop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year 2021.
“We won Hip-hop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year at the just ended Ghana Music Awards- USA. Thank you all for supporting my journey. #PatienceEP next … 50%.” He stated on his social media handle.
The Ghana Music Industry credits the 26-year-old rapper for curating Ghana’s first-ever newscasting rap series called Yeete Nsem. Interestingly, the series with its first episode released in 2020 took the industry by storm. He cast the rap news from I – XX. On digital platforms, he has labelled it Yeete Nsem The Compilation I – XX.
Following the unmeasurable breakthrough from Yeete Nsem, Amerado showed his hip-hop and rapping skills when he had the chance at Tim Westwood TV. In fact, his performance got everyone talking, even those who never loved rap.
It was at the peak of his recognition when his feud with Obibini came to light over a line he put across during his rap at Tim Westwood. The aftermath was just a healthy lyrical feud between the two in which people believe it’s necessary for it shakes and revives the industry.
And today, he has come out to celebrate and thank fans for winning the GMA-USA award for Hip-hip/Hiplife Artist of the Year.
Born Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, the rapper has 4 albums to his credit. This includes two external plays. These are Rapmare EP in 2017, 22nd April EP in 2019, and in the same year, he dopped the Unheard album.
In 2020, he dropped the Yeete Nsem Compilation and now coming up with Patience. The Hip-hop/hiplife award winner is yet to tell the details of this incoming project. Stay tuned.
