When it comes to singing Ghana get huge talent, and the likes of Kuami Eugene, Amaarae, Sarkodie and Stoneboy have been dazzling us with interesting song and this shows that Ghanaians can never be push back when it comes to singing in Africa.
However, before the like of Kuami Eugene, Amaarae, Sarkodie and Stoneboy came to stardom there have been many singers who have been dazzling us with their song.
So we look at three Ghanaian musicians and who have dazzled us with their songs in the past.
Michael Elliot Obrafour is a Ghanaian singer who has been active since 1999, he is known for the popular hit song "Pae mu ka ", for which he won 3 awards during the 2000 edition of Ghana Music Awards is arguably one of the best selling albums in Ghana. In May 2019, Obrafour celebrated the 20th anniversary of the "Pae mu ka " album. He is certainly an artist that will remain fresh in many people's memory due to his international recognition which he had all over the world.
2. Abrewa Nana
Dorcas Opoku Dakwa is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, dancer and former Idol series, judge. She has been active in singing since the year 2000 and she is known for the album Sagoa, in 2000, which launched her to national fame. She earned three nominations at the Ghana Music Awards for Female Artist of the Year, Rap Song of the Year, and New Artist of the Year. She has shared the stage with artists such as Akon, 2Face and Tony Tetuila.
3. Asante Mensah
Asante Mensah is a Ghanaian artist who is popularly known as Asem, he came to the limelight in 2007 when he released the popular song “Give Me Blow”. The song was largely accepted by Ghanaians due to the uniqueness and style of the song. He is another musician that has dazzled us with his song in the past.
