Counsellor Lutterodt is one of the most controversial counsellors in Ghana currently. He granted an interview on TV Africa recently and he stated that the rate at which women are physically abused by their husbands is too much. He therefore advised such women to walk out of these abusive marriages.

Though our society disapproves divorce, he said it's at least better to save their lives rather than them being in a relationship and dying. 'Such ladies will get better men after the divorce', he said.
He went on to advise married women against discussing marriage issues with their husbands’ family especially when it's related to divorce and physical abuse.
