Ghana: Entertainment Achievement Awards 2021 reveal nominees

The nominees for the first yearly Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAAs) in Ghana have been divulged in front of the headliner at Kempinski Hotel in Accra on 27 March. 

The declaration follows a call for assignments in December. The honors stage was dispatched by the Accra-based Citi TV to respect remarkable inventive accomplishments in music, film, style, photography, media, satire and sports, among others. 

Stonebwoy and Kuami Eugene lead the candidates with five gestures each, including the definitely challenged Entertainment Personality Award. KiDi got four selections, though Adina, Shatta Wale, Darkovibes and Sarkodie got two each. 

The current year's plan will grant innovative works delivered in 2020. The candidates were chosen by an institute made out of telecaster Kofi Okyere Darko, multi-instrumentalist and maker Kwame Yeboah, big name blogger Ameyaw Debrah, Adinkra Experience CEO Kofi Adinkra, and craftsman and essayist Dr Bernard Akoi-Jackson. 

The coordinators say that there will be no open democratic and the champs will decided only by the foundation. 

"The Entertainment Achievement Awards and the manner in which we expect to execute it will start a hard-hitting discussion about the Ghanaian inventive industry and the potential it uses," Citi TV program director Jessica Opare-Saforo said. "It will lead the route in cleaning and changing Ghana's diversion scene in an offer to make creative items that can solidly contend on any worldwide stage." 

The honors function will be held essentially because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be communicated on Citi TV (DStv channel 363) and online media.
