Meet The Famous Mid Morning Show Host of Peace Fm, Kofi Kum Bilson.


Ghana has witnessed many radio shows and presenters over the years and one of such outstanding media personalities is Peace Fm 's mid morning show host Kofi Kum-Bilson.

The radio icon who takes over the radio after Kwami Sefa Kayi, the host of the station's morning show has garnered a wide listenership over the years.

Born on January 2, 1970, he is the last of seven children born to Mr. Alfred Baah Bilson and Mrs. Juliana Bilson both of blessed memory.

A product of Datus School and Accra Academy where he had his secondary education, he started his career at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). He was presenter of Band Stands which was then produced by Eddie Amoo, before moving to the Multimedia Group Limited, where he worked at Joy FM. He hosted the Lunch Time Rhythms before moving to the media company 's radio station in Kumasi ie. Luv 99.5 Fm.



Kofi Kum-Bilson worked in Kumasi for six years where he revealed he got to learn the Akan language (Twi) before returning to Accra. He later moved to Despite Media's Peace Fm. He was hired within an hour after he met with the then General Manager of Peace FM, the late Mr. Akwasi Brenya and has worked there till now.

His show "Working Time" is fused with great music, his daily motivational messages, news around the world and a reminder of happenings in history.

He has educated, entertained and inspired many with his golden voice and has won several awards for his talent and mastery of his craft making him one of the respected presenters in Ghana.

Kofi Kum-Bilson is a Christian who fellowships with KICC Ghana (Dominion Centre) at Spintex, Accra and is married to Mrs. Abigail Bilson and they are blessed with two daughters.
