Fast Rising Ghanaian Singer, Gyakie, Is In Hot Waters For Saying This On Social Media.

Social media is a powerful tool that can add colours to your life and can also unmake you when wrongly used. If you' re the type of celebrity who easily respond to backlashes and trolls, you will easy be in hot waters. Some negative comments can trigger you into a tight situation.

This is why most of the celebs ignore comments under their posts. The fast rising Ghanaian singer, Jackie Acheampong known on stage as Gyakie has landed herself into public ridicule. Not long ago she won the hearts of most Ghanaians with his single track " Forever" with many tipping her to win Grammy in the near future. The song has enjoyed massive airplay in Ghana and Africa.

" Forever" has been on the various top charts in Ghana and outside Ghana. This has been the anthem for music lovers for a while. The composition and the instrumentation did the magic thanks to Kros Music.

Flip Music management team has really worked hard to get her to this level. As part of promoting the song, Nigerian new act, Omah Lay was featured on it and this is what has got the beautiful and innocent Gyakie into hot water.

After the " Forever" remix was released, some Ghanaians feel the remix is needless and like a typical Ghanaian pidgin, they say the song no dey bee. The songstress after coming across these comments didn' t take it lightly and also clapped back with this statement she posted on social media:

This isn' t an insult but people feel she should have kept mute and continue doing her music to prove them wrong. Replying them back has rather generated a lot of backlashes from social media users. Some are saying just because she featured Omah Lay, she is talking like she featured Rihanna. Listen to a snippet of what Omah Lay sang on the remix to see if he nailed it or not:

Gyakie and her team were in Nigeria for a media tour on top Nigeria radio stations including Max FM, The Beat FM and Sound City FM. She is expected to be back in Ghana to continue her music.
