With that been said, let’s get right into this article.

The popularly known Ghanaian journalist and editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper has recently sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms after boldly sending another strong message to critics over First and Second Ladies’ allowances.

However, a recent press statement from the Presidency revealed that both the First and Second Ladies had rejected their respective allowances whilst promising to refund all allowances paid them backdated from 2017.

Speaking on the most anticipated “Kokrokoo” show on Peace Fm with host Kwame Sefa Kayi, Kwaku Baako was given the privilege to share his immense opinions on the recent allowances for both First and Second Ladies which had been causing massive reactions across all social media platforms.

Whilst addressing the issue, Kwaku Baako highlighted that there was nothing wrong with paying the respective allowances for both the First and Second Ladies as it was the country’s obligation to do so.

In addition, Kwaku Baako made it clear that since the salaries for the former Presidents, J.A Kufour and John Mahama were increased, so has that for the current President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia increased.

With this, Kwaku Baako boldly stated that, if critics including some politicians and Ghanaians as a whole want the allowances for the First and Second Ladies to be reduced, they should be bold and say it than to be personally attacking Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Samira Bawumia.

“If you want zero allowance be bold and say so”, Kwaku Baako emphatically stated.

Considering the respective allowances for both the First and Second Ladies, do you think the their allowances should be reduced for the upcoming years?
