Joe Mettle And Adelaide Bortier, Visually Impaired, Poised To Make History In The Music Industry

Ms. Adelaide Naa Borley Bortier Afutu, who was in her final year at the Ghanata Senior High School (SHS) in Dodowa in 2013, was compelled to truncate her education due to the contraction of cerebrospinal meningitis (CSM) that eventually led to the loss of her eyesight.

Since then, the young lady has been battling with her condition because she is unable to meet the rising cost of treatment and other medical expenses, making any hope of her regaining her sight fade away.

Adelaide however, is blessed with a soothing voice that can surely give you goosebumps as you listen to her, give renditions of other musicians.

She has a dream of meeting Joe Mettle, a renowned gospel artist in Ghana, who happens to be making waves across the globe.

By the efforts of some well-meaning Ghanaians within the Gadangme community, where Adelaide Bortie hails from, the story of this pretty damsel is about to change as she hits the studio with Joe Mettle.

Thanks to the efforts of our first lady, Mrs. Rebbecca Akuffo, Addo, Ghanata old students Association (GOSA), Nuumo Gborbu Wolomo, Nii Tetteh Ablorh of Tv Africa, Naa Shomer of "Gbalamo Sei" talk show fame, Larweh Bi (a community advocate), Mr. Elliot Borlabi, Nii OKai Ohetse, and Nii Oblah Shawa, Nii Ama Jorbu and some individuals behind the scenes, young talented Adelaide Bortier will have a cause to smile as her most treasured talent is about to be harnessed.

In a video sighted by the general public, Minister was seen in the studio having a recording session with young Adelaide Bortier.

Ghanaians should expect a joint from this duo within the shortest possible time.

However, all efforts are been garnered for Adelaide to go under surgery with the hope of her back her sight.
