Death is inevitable, every living soul shall taste death according to the Quran and the Bible. Losing people who are very close to our hearts can be very painful. It is not only our families that are close to us but also our friends and celebrities that we enjoy their songs, their acting and their lifestyle. There is no way we can replace the space our dead ones left behind in our lives, but we have no choice but to remember them in prayers and move on with our lives.
When I remember that we used to have these three listed celebrities in Ghana, tears fill my heart, and I begin to think what their families would be going through without them, especially seeing some of their peers excelling in the entertainment industry. So today I decided to compile the list of these three popular celebrities for us to remember that we once had them in the Ghana entertainment industry.
Here is the list of the 3 popular Ghanaian celebrities who died in tragic car accidents:
1. Ebony Reigns
Ebony Reigns during her time was one of the most talented musicians in Ghana. She loved many Ghanaians, and her songs were always on the spotlight in most cases. Her death is still a big surprise to many people who think she died a sudden death and wasn't able to fulfil her dreams. She made Ghana proud and became the first female musician to win the popular VGMA award back in 2018. She met her untimely death after colliding with a rushing car on her way coming back from a visit to her mother in Accra in February 2018.
2. Suzzy Williams
Suzzy Williams was one of the most sought-after actresses in Ghana. Her talent and versatility brought her the deserved fame she got before her death. Suzzy passed away in a car accident in September 2008 at Labadi in Accra, it was a big loss for Ghana and one that will remain in our memory forever.
3. Genahlina Owusu Ansah
This young lady is a social media sensation, she aspired to be a model and a brand influencer on social media, but her sudden demise never allowed her to fulfil her dreams. She passed away in a car crash on the Kumasi-Accra highway while travelling from Kumasi to Accra in 2019. As we continue to remember these popular celebrities, let's also pray that such things will seize to happen in Ghana and the rest of the world.
