A lady known as Nana Yaa has shared her story on Oyerepa TV today. She said that she lost her womb because of her boyfriend. According to Nana Yaa this happened in Kumasi after the birth of her first child.
"My name is Nana Yaa and I live with my boyfriend who is known as Sammy for twelve years now. We started seeing each other twelve years ago. He became my boyfriend and I got pregnant few years later. I delivered my first child safely but Sammy never went to see my family members. I even forced him before he came to name my new born baby boy. After the naming ceremony, I told Sammy to my a piece of land so that he could build a house for my son and I. I thought he would get angry but he said okay. I was there one day and he told me that he has bought the plot if land and that he was about to star building the house. At that time, our son was three years old," Nana Yaa said.
Few days later, I found out that I was pregnant. I was very happy. I told Sammy and he told me that he would leave the uncompleted building in the bush if I give birth again. He let us get rid of the baby. We successfully got rid of the baby. Few years later, Sammy impregnated me again. Sammy once again told me that he would leave the building in the bush if I keep the baby in my womb. He went to a nearby pharmacy and got me drugs for getting rid of a baby. I used it but I started bleeding. The bleeding wasn't normal so Sammy rushed me to the hospital. He told me that I should tell the Doctor I was at home and I started bleeding. The doctor then operated on me and removed my womb," Nana Yaa concluded.
